This incredibly nice and talented group of international chess stars include: IM Goran Vojinovic, IM Atanas Kizov, and WGM Jovana Vojinovic. They all speak English well. IM Goran Vojinovic
With great pride I would like to report that IM Goran Vojinovic and his team have joined the staff at CCL. Goran's honesty, sense of personal integrity, and high level of coaching experience make him a welcome addition. All private students will have an over-the-board coach as their primary instructor, while Internet lessons with Goran's group will be used to supplement these lessons. While visiting Ohio, Goran has won every major Ohio tournament that he has competed in, which includes: Columbus Open, Cardinal Open (twice) and Gem City Open. The addition of Goran to our group helps to assure the development of our students to the very highest level. Please read the description of Goran, taken from Infinia Chess.
International Master, Goran Vojinovic has fifteen years of chess coaching. In addition to a successful career in coaching, he plays professional chess in tournaments in many countries around the world and has realized 2 grandmaster norms. He gives chess lectures, has written for chess magazines, and is an online chess commentator for live relays of International Chess Tournaments and Captain of his local chess team. Goran tells us, “My daughters come first in my life, and I am equally proud of both. Chess is my passion. I love teaching others to play chess. Chess enables you to meet interesting people from all over the world. There is no language barrier in a game of chess. Chess is a universal language spoken over the board.”
Atanas is an IM from Macedonia who also has one of his GM norms. Atanas is the former Macedonia National Champion. He is an accomplished chess player who is also well known for his his theoretical base and his theoretical knowledge of the openings. He is an extremely hard worker who has a very professional approach to chess. I have received many personal and strong GM recommendations on Atanas of which some of these GM's use him as their second when they compete in matches. His deep understanding of chess is well respected in chess circles. Below is a short recent sample from the list of many accomplishments that he has sent me. 2006: Member of Macedonian chess Team at the Chess Olympiad in Turin,Italy
WGM Jovana Vojinovic
What a coup for our program to get a Woman's Grandmaster on staff. Being only 19 years old herself, Jovana's current focus on chess is directed toward her own world title aspirations. Still, she is willing to work with a couple of our talented young females as she has so much to share with them. A few of Jovana's accomplishments include: - European rapid champion ( 30 mins per game ) , U 10 and U 14 |
